Project Call 2026.2: Using our Roadmaps to turn ecosystem priorities into funded projects
Biovia is launching its Project Call 2026.2, offering non-dilutive funding made available by VLAIO to collaborative projects addressing unmet needs.
Project call 2026.2 is the first to align with the newly launched Biovia Roadmaps—six topics identified by Biovia members as priorities for health innovation in Flanders, based on their needs and the strengths of our ecosystem.
Guided by these Roadmaps, Biovia will help members find partners and build projects that are ideally designed for funding and impact.
Roadmaps: paving the way for innovative projects
The Roadmaps are six topics were chosen in a series of interactive workshops, based on the needs of innovators and strengths of our ecosystem. The Project Call 2026.2 serves as one of the instruments through which these Roadmaps will be realized—turning strategy into tangible impact.
Rather than funding innovation in isolation, Biovia seeks to support collaborative initiatives that contribute to the priorities identified by the ecosystem. By aligning investments with community-defined opportunities and challenges, the call aims to generate real solutions for patients, companies and the broader healthcare system.
Supporting the next generation of health innovation
Projects may align with one or more of the Roadmap topics, for example where partners are developing next-gen therapeutics, precision health technologies, value-driven healthcare solutions and medtech or digital health products.
The call is intended for companies developing innovative health solutions that require funding and are looking to collaborate with complementary partners to accelerate development.
