Roadmaps: paving the way for innovative projects
Twice a year, Biovia opens a call for collaborative health innovation projects, with €8 million in non-dilutive funding made available by VLAIO each year for organizations developing solutions to unmet needs.
Project Call 2026.2 is the first to align with the newly launched Biovia Roadmaps—six topics identified by Biovia members as priorities for health innovation in Flanders, based on their needs and the strengths of our ecosystem.
Guided by these Roadmaps, Biovia will help members build projects, find partners and funding—turning strategy into tangible impact.
Building impact where the ecosystem sees the greatest opportunities
Biovia's Roadmaps reflect six topics identified by our members as strategic priorities for the Flemish health innovation ecosystem.
By aligning Project Call 2026.2 with these Roadmap topics, Biovia is working with our members to put strategy into action.
Strategic Relevance
The Biovia Roadmaps provide a shared direction for innovation in areas that our members have identified as priorities for the Flemish health ecosystem. Through this project call, we aim to translate these strategic priorities into collaborative projects that address unmet needs and create tangible impact. Projects that contribute to multiple Roadmap domains are actively encouraged.
The call is intended for companies developing a promising innovative health solution that needs funding and are looking to collaborate with complementary partners to accelerate development. Consortia must consist of at least three partners, must include Biovia members and may combine expertise from industry, research institutes, hospitals and healthcare organizations.
