VISD Program - Building a Resilient Biotech & Healthtech Ecosystem for Security and Defence
In response to today's rapidly shifting geopolitical landscape, the Flemish Government has launched the Flemish Innovation and Industry Strategy for Security and Defence (VISD). Its goal: to strengthen Flanders' technological and industrial foundations in security and defense.
As part of this long-term initiative, Biovia and VIB are taking up a central role as key enablers in shaping a resilient biotech and healthtech ecosystem at the intersection of science, industry and government. This initiative is closely aligned with priorities set by Flanders, the EU and NATO and will open the door to new funding opportunities.
