Join us in Ghent, Belgium, for MDR Day 2026 – The EU Medical Device Regulation in Motion: Regulators, Industry and the Road Ahead, an on-site short course organised by Ghent University as part of the Medical Device Seminar Series 2026.
MDR Day 2026 will bring together regulatory professionals, engineers, start-ups, SMEs and master’s students for a one-day deep dive into the EU Medical Device Regulation.
The programme combines:
🔹 The Belgian competent authority’s perspective on medical device software and current EU hot topics
🔹 A multinational manufacturer’s perspective on medical device legislation
🔹 A practical exploration of the emerging EU support ecosystem for AI-enabled medical devices

Through real-world examples and case-based discussion, participants will gain a clearer understanding of where the MDR stands, where it is heading and how to navigate it in practice.
